about Debbie

In 2017, Debbie launched Levenson Wealth to support a limited set of clients in a deeper way.  For a dozen years before that, she applied her love of personal finance and strong analytical skills assisting clients at a large wealth management firm in Needham, MA, where she was a Vice President.

Debbie has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard University.

As a management consultant for Bain & Company, Debbie developed her financial and strategy skills while helping Fortune 500 companies improve their profitability. After Bain, she spent a decade as a senior executive for two consumer products companies before becoming a Certified Financial Planner® through the Boston University program in 2004

Financial planning and investing have been lifelong passions for Debbie. She has been quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Investment News and other local and national media. She has published articles in Financial Planning magazine, the AAII Journal (American Association of Individual Investors) and Women’s Business. She has been featured on multiple occasions as a Money Makeover expert in the Boston Sunday Globe. Debbie is a NAPFA-registered financial advisor and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Debbie enjoys running, reading, relaxing and planning with her husband and extended family.

Sam Levenson, Associate Planner, CFP

about SAM

Sam joined Levenson Wealth full-time in 2024 after receiving his Certificate of Financial Planning from Boston University and passing the CFP exam. He enjoys the personal and collaborative nature of planning and aims to serve as a thought partner for each client.  

Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and International Relations with high honors from the University of Pennsylvania. He also studied Talmud in the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, Israel. He is a committed lifelong learner. After university, Sam worked for five years as a management consultant for Bain & Company, where he focused on merger integration and customer experience transformation.  

Sam and his wife are talented multitaskers who delight in balancing their careers and raising their young children.
